Tenement Trail 2024: Registration Now Open

Run, Walk, or Roll for a Good Cause

Join us for the 10th Annual Tenement Trail on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

Tenement Trail is a unique opportunity to explore the Lower East Side's rich history while supporting the Tenement Museum's educational programs. This year's event will feature a 5K run/walk and a wheelchair race, as well as live music, food, and family-friendly activities.

Race Details

The 5K run/walk will start at 9:00 AM on May 5th. The wheelchair race will start at 8:45 AM. Both races will begin and end at the Tenement Museum, located at 103 Orchard Street. The course will wind through the historic streets of the Lower East Side, past landmarks such as the Eldridge Street Synagogue and the Katz's Delicatessen.

Registration

Registration for the Tenement Trail is now open. The early bird registration fee is $35 for the 5K run/walk and $25 for the wheelchair race. The registration fee will increase to $40 for the 5K run/walk and $30 for the wheelchair race on March 1st. You can register online or by mail. Support the Tenement Museum

The Tenement Trail is a fundraiser for the Tenement Museum, a non-profit organization that tells the stories of immigrants who lived and worked on the Lower East Side in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The museum's educational programs reach over 250,000 people each year, including school children, community groups, and tourists from around the world.
