Murder Investigation After Man Found Dead in Clifton

Police are investigating the death of a man found in Clifton on Monday.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was found dead in a car park on Clifton Road at around 11.30am.

Police were called to the scene and found the man's body in the driver's seat of a silver Vauxhall Astra.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place to determine the cause of death.

Police are treating the death as suspicious and have cordoned off the area while they carry out their investigations.

Detective Inspector Mark Almond, who is leading the investigation, said:

"This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the man's family and friends at this difficult time.
